Sculptree 2001
Show Report

This year's Sculptree at Westonbirt Arboretum was bigger and better than ever, with huge numbers of visitors attending thanks to the excellent bank holiday weather.  Sculptree is the country's foremost chainsaw carving display, with participants from all over the world.  Sculptors are allowed to choose a tree trunk from the selection available, and then given a week to create.

The event combines with the 'Festival of Wood' show for the last 3 days, and there were around 100 exhibitors, large and small, covering every aspect of woodworking and equipment, as well as displays by turning and carving associations.
