Designing and Making Wooden Toys
by Terry Kelly
A guide to designing and making wooden toys which includes 24 projects for woodworkers of all abilities. There are toys ranging from a rocking panda to a teapot house, and none of them will take longer to make than a weekend. The book contains photographs and line drawings as well as easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions, to provide the reader with the clearest possible guide to building these toys. The toys featured include a kangaroo with her "Joey", an intricate foldaway clock, a miniature skittle alley, a ball-in-a-cube game and a lorry with a trailer. There are even a series of sand-operated toys including a windmill and a set of diving dolphins. As well as the projects themselves, there are chapters on tools and equipment, materials and safety.
